Governor Balochistan Jaafar Khan Mandokhel Stresses Importance of Dialogue and Cooperation for Peace in the Region

Quetta:Governor of Balochistan, Jaafar Khan Mandokhel, emphasized that peace is not merely the absence of conflict but a state of harmony, understanding, and mutual respect between individuals and nations. He highlighted that resolving Balochistan’s complex issues requires meaningful dialogue and mutual understanding, as the region’s dynamics are unique and sensitive.

In a meeting with Inspector General of Police, Moazzam Jan Ansari, at the Governor House in Quetta, the Governor stated that the challenges faced by Balochistan can be addressed through political solutions based on mutual understanding, consultation, and involving all stakeholders in the decision-making process.

Governor Mandokhel further acknowledged the critical role of the police department in maintaining law and order, as well as safeguarding the lives and property of the public. He stressed the importance of building trust and cooperation between the police and the community to ensure effective policing, and the need for a balance between better performance and community involvement.

He noted that given the current situation, the police department has increased responsibilities to maintain peace, ensure the safety of national highways, and protect public safety. Governor Mandokhel reiterated that a peaceful society is the foundation for long-term development and prosperity, enabling individuals to achieve progress and growth. He emphasized that prosperous societies with strong economies, and better education and healthcare systems, are more likely to thrive in peace.

The Governor’s statements reflect his commitment to addressing Balochistan’s challenges through collaboration and fostering peace for the development of the region.
