For households consuming up to 200 units per month, an additional charge of Rs. 7.12 per unit has been implemented. However, these consumers are exempted from this increase for the next three months. For other domestic consumers, the basic unit tariff has been raised, resulting in a maximum charge of Rs. 48.84 per unit.

Consumers in the lifeline category, using up to 50 units monthly, will continue to pay Rs. 3.95 per unit, while those using between 51 to 100 units will pay Rs. 7.74 per unit.
