Good News: Renowned Company Announces Local Mobile Phone Manufacturing in Punjab

Lahore: Exciting news has arrived for the residents of Punjab – mobile phones will soon be manufactured locally in the province. The provincial government of Punjab has signed an agreement with China’s renowned mobile company, Vivo, to establish a mobile manufacturing plant. On the third day of his visit to China, Punjab’s Minister for Industry and Trade, Chaudhry Shafeeq Hussain, visited Vivo’s manufacturing plant in Shenzhen, where he observed various stages of mobile production. The CEO of Vivo briefed the minister about the entire manufacturing process. The CEO confirmed that Vivo would set up its manufacturing facility in Punjab. The agreement for the plant was officially signed between the Department of Industry and Trade of Punjab and the Chinese company, with Minister Chaudhry Shafeeq Hussain and Vivo’s CEO, Mr. Liuk, putting pen to paper. This move is set to significantly boost local mobile production in Punjab.
