Good News for Hajj Applicants: All Applications Successful
Islamabad: A major update has come for those who applied for Hajj this year. Minister for Religious Affairs, Chaudhry Salik, announced that all Hajj applications received by December 3 have been approved.
The Minister also confirmed that all applications under the Sponsorship Scheme have been successful as well.
In addition, due to some difficulties faced by applicants in the Hajj registration process, the deadline has been extended by seven days. Hajj applications can now be submitted until December 10.
Chaudhry Salik stated that if the number of applications exceeds the available quota, a draw will be held. Overseas Pakistanis who applied under the Sponsorship Scheme must deposit the sponsorship amount by December 10. Applicants under the Sponsorship Scheme will be considered successful without a lottery.
He also advised prospective pilgrims to download the “Pak Hajj” mobile app for further instructions and updates.
