Gold Prices Surge Amid Threats of New Tariffs by US President Donald Trump

Gold prices have surged in global markets following US President Donald Trump’s threats to impose new tariffs. The price of gold has surpassed $2,911 per ounce, equivalent to 812,000 Pakistani rupees.
In Karachi, the price of gold per tola has increased by 4,000 rupees, reaching 303,000 rupees. Additionally, the price of 10 grams of gold has risen by 3,429 rupees, now standing at 259,773 rupees.
Experts believe that due to growing concerns over trade wars and inflation, investors are increasingly turning to gold as a safe haven, leading to a rise in demand and, consequently, prices.
