Gold Prices Rise Again After Two-Day Decline in Global and Local Markets

Karachi: After a two-day decline, the price of gold surged again in both international and local markets.
In the international bullion market, the price of gold rose by $16 per ounce, reaching $2,647. On the other hand, in the local bullion markets, the price of 24-carat gold increased by PKR 1,600 per tola, bringing it to PKR 275,900. The price of gold per 10 grams also saw an increase of PKR 1,372, reaching PKR 236,540.
Despite the rise in gold prices, the price of silver remained unchanged. The price of silver per tola remained steady at PKR 3,400, and the price per 10 grams also remained unchanged at PKR 2,914.95.
