Gold Prices Drop in Global and Local Markets

Karachi: Gold prices have decreased in both international and local markets. The price of gold in the international bullion market fell by $18, reaching $2,639 per ounce. On the other hand, in the local bullion markets, the price of 24-carat gold dropped by 1,200 Pakistani Rupees per tola, settling at 275,700 Rupees, while the price of gold per 10 grams decreased by 1,029 Rupees, reaching 236,368 Rupees.
Despite the drop in gold prices, the price of silver remained unchanged in the country. The price of silver per tola stayed at 3,350 Rupees, and per 10 grams, it held steady at 2,872.08 Rupees.
