Global Condemnation Continues Following Jaffar Express Attack

The attack on the Jaffar Express has sparked widespread condemnation from around the world, with several countries and international organizations expressing their dismay over the incident. The United Nations, the United States, China, Iran, the United Kingdom, Russia, Turkey, Norway, and the European Union have all condemned the attack, which has been claimed by the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).

A spokesperson for the U.S. Embassy stated, “We strongly condemn this attack, and we express our deepest sympathies and condolences to the victims and their families.” The spokesperson further noted that the BLA has been designated as a global terrorist group by the United States.

In a similar vein, China also condemned the terrorist attack on the Jaffar Express and reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Pakistan in combating terrorism and ensuring the protection of civilians. A spokesperson for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “China firmly opposes terrorism in all forms and is ready to strengthen cooperation with Pakistan in counterterrorism and security efforts.”

Russia’s embassy in Pakistan issued a statement condemning the brutal attack. The Russian Embassy expressed its solidarity with Pakistan and the victims, calling the attack a heinous act of terrorism.

European Union Ambassador to Pakistan, Renée Koninka, took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to condemn the terrorist attack in Balochistan. She expressed her condolences to the people of Pakistan and the families of the victims, stating, “We condemn the terrorist attack in Balochistan and extend our sympathies to the affected families.”

Meanwhile, the French Embassy in Pakistan also condemned the terrorist attack, expressing solidarity with the Pakistani people. The French Embassy issued a statement expressing deep sympathy with the victims and their families, and reiterated France’s support for Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.

The global community’s unified stance highlights the growing concern over security in Pakistan, especially in the wake of such violent incidents.
