Karachi: Gold prices saw a decline in both international and local markets. The price of gold in the international bullion market dropped by $10, reaching $2,635 per ounce. As a result, the price of 24-carat gold in local jewelry markets fell by Rs. 1,000, settling at Rs. 274,700 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold dropped by Rs. 857, bringing it down to Rs. 235,511.
Despite the drop in gold prices, silver remained unchanged in the local market. The price of one tola of silver remained steady at Rs. 3,400, while the price of 10 grams of silver also stayed the same at Rs. 2,914.95.
It is worth mentioning that on Thursday, gold prices had experienced an increase, both internationally and locally. The price of gold in the international market rose by $5, and in local markets, the price of one tola of gold had increased by Rs. 500.
