Funeral of Martyred Soldier Mohammad Iqbal Held in Khuzdar, Balochistan
The funeral prayer for **Soldier Mohammad Iqbal**, who was martyred in a terrorist attack on an Army Public School bus in Khuzdar, Balochistan, has been held in the **Tola Mangli area of Mianwali**.
The funeral was attended by army personnel, officers, representatives from civil society, the **Anjuman-e-Tajran**, and local residents. In line with the martyr’s final wish, **Mohammad Iqbal** was laid to rest with full military honors at the **Kalabagh Graveyard**, adjacent to the **Masjid Gulzar Madina**.
It’s noteworthy that in yesterday’s terrorist attack on the school bus in Khuzdar, **three children and two soldiers** lost their lives. A total of **53 individuals**, including **39 children**, were injured, with **eight children** reported to be in critical condition. According to the **Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR)**, after suffering defeat on the battlefield, the terrorists targeted innocent children, in an act of cowardice. The ISPR further assured that the terrorists, along with their planners and facilitators, will be brought to justice and face a severe end.
This tragic incident has once again highlighted the ongoing threat posed by terrorism in the region, while also underlining the bravery and sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces.
