Former Senator Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani Criticizes Systemic Injustice Post-2018
Quetta:Former senior senator Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani has spoken out against systemic injustices inflicted upon the people and constituencies of Balochistan since 2018, echoing sentiments of frustration and resilience. Raisani’s remarks come in light of the Supreme Court’s National Assembly constituency NA-265 electoral tribunal hearing, scheduled under the leadership of Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, at the Quetta Registry with senior lawyers Mohammad Riaz Ahmed Advocate and Taher Hussain Advocate, alongside journalists.
Raisani expressed steadfast determination to stand with his constituency and the political community, emphasizing their resolve despite facing deceitful projects orchestrated by political parties in Parliament, which failed to rectify the system. He criticized the lack of justice in both the 2018 electoral fraud cases and those currently unfolding in 2024, highlighting that four chief justices have retired during this period without rendering fair decisions.
He further pointed out the disillusionment among those sent to Parliament, particularly the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), whose fake schemes have paralyzed the entire system. Raisani stressed the urgency of conveying this message to the public, underscoring that justice remains elusive under the current system. He lamented the wasted six years and ongoing attempts to cover up fund embezzlement, urging for the exposure and prosecution of those responsible.
