Former President Arif Alvi Takes Oath from PTI Workers to Protest Until Imran Khan’s Release

Islamabad:In a show of solidarity with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder **Imran Khan**, former President **Arif Alvi** took an oath from PTI workers, urging them to continue protesting until the release of their leader. Alvi, addressing the **Workers Convention** in **Peshawar**, urged party supporters to remain firm in their resolve to fight for Khan’s release.

During his speech, Alvi expressed deep support for Imran Khan, stating that the government would have to do much more to diminish the love the people of Pakistan have for him. “Our love for Imran Khan cannot be erased; even if they tear our hearts apart, the love for him will remain unshaken,” Alvi declared. He further reiterated that **Imran Khan** is fighting for the supremacy of **law, the constitution**, and **democracy** in Pakistan.

Alvi boldly announced that on **November 24**, there would be a **sea of people** on the streets of **Islamabad**, signaling PTI’s strong stance against the current government.

**Imran Khan’s Protest Call on November 24**

This call for a major demonstration comes after **Imran Khan** announced a large-scale protest on **November 24** in the capital, Islamabad, which has already seen extensive preparations. Party workers are expected to gather in large numbers from across the country to demand Khan’s release.

However, the **Pakistani government** has issued stern warnings to PTI, stating that all forms of public gatherings, including rallies and protests, will be **banned in Islamabad**. The government has also made it clear that if there are any casualties or incidents of violence during the protest, the responsibility will fall squarely on those leading the demonstration.

**Backdoor Talks Between Imran Khan and the Government**

Meanwhile, reports have emerged suggesting that **Imran Khan** and the government have engaged in **backdoor negotiations**, with Khan reportedly seeking his release in exchange for calling off the November 24 protest. However, the government has rejected this offer, with no resolution reached so far.
