San Francisco:Suchir Balaji, a former researcher at OpenAI, was found dead under mysterious circumstances in his San Francisco apartment on November 26. After conducting an autopsy and initial investigations, the police have ruled his death as suicide.

Balaji, aged 26, had worked at OpenAI for four years before becoming a whistleblower, accusing the company of copyright violations. He alleged that OpenAI had used copyrighted data without permission for its ChatGPT software. In response, OpenAI stated that it uses publicly available data from the internet to train its models.
