Former Chief Minister of Balochistan Calls for Unrestricted Peaceful Baloch National Gathering in Gwadar

Quetta:Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani, former Chief Minister of Balochistan and member of the Assembly of Islamic Scholars, has advocated on the social media platform (X) for the peaceful Baloch national gathering in Gwadar without any restrictions or obstacles.

In his statement on the website, Raisani emphasized the importance of ensuring security arrangements that guarantee the right to peaceful assembly and the expression of Baloch political and cultural identity. He urged the government to facilitate a peaceful gathering in Gwadar, emphasizing the significance of allowing Baloch people to freely express their political and cultural aspirations without imposition.

Gwadar, a strategic port city in Balochistan, has been a focal point for various socio-political activities and development initiatives, making it crucial for the government to ensure a conducive environment for public gatherings.

Raisani’s statement comes amidst ongoing discussions and concerns over security measures and their impact on public gatherings across the province. He stressed that any undue restrictions could undermine the democratic rights of the Baloch people and exacerbate tensions in the region.

The former Chief Minister’s call underscores the need for a balanced approach by authorities to uphold constitutional freedoms while maintaining public order. As discussions continue, stakeholders are hopeful for constructive dialogue and measures that promote harmony and respect for civil liberties in Balochistan.

The upcoming days are expected to see further deliberations and actions aimed at addressing the concerns raised by Raisani and other leaders advocating for peaceful socio-political engagements in Gwadar and throughout Balochistan.
