Former Balochistan CM, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, Condemns Arrest of SBK Teachers and Demands Immediate Release

Khadar:Pakistan Peoples Party’s central leader and former Chief Minister of Balochistan, Chief of Jhalawan, Nawab Sanaullah Khan Zehri, condemned the arrest of SBK teachers and the police raid at the Quetta Press Club. He termed the action as reprehensible and urged the government to immediately release all the arrested teachers and fulfill their demands.

Nawab Zehri emphasized that the arrest of shortlisted candidates is unacceptable, especially when the Supreme Court of Pakistan has already ruled in their favor. He stated that the government should respect the court’s decision to avoid growing resentment among the youth of the province.

He further noted that Balochistan is already grappling with underdevelopment and limited job opportunities. He praised the SBK teachers for their peaceful protest, asserting that protesting for their rights is their democratic right, and such actions should not be met with police force.

He called on the government to engage in dialogue with the SBK teachers and take their demands seriously. He urged the authorities to release all detained individuals and begin a process of constructive talks to resolve the matter.
