The arrests, which took place in Karachi, yielded a cache of weapons including one Kalashnikov, thirty-four pistols, and two motorcycles.
Addressing a press conference with SSP Malir Kashif Abbasi yesterday, DIG East Ghulam Azfar Mahesar disclosed that the gang had been actively engaged in multiple incidents over the past few months, targeting citizens leaving banks with cash and forcibly stealing their vehicles. They had also been involved in several incidents of car theft at gunpoint.

When police pursued them based on a citizen’s tip-off, they fired at the police in Gulshan-e-Hadeed, resulting in the tragic killing of a rickshaw driver and injuring a woman.
