Five Killed in Attack on Levies Vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan

Five individuals, including four Levies personnel, have been killed in a gun attack on a Levies vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan. The incident occurred in the Dera Ismail Khan district’s Darraband tehsil, when Khanuzai Levies personnel, accompanied by a private driver, were on their way to recover a stolen truck.

According to the Assistant Commissioner of Karezat, the Levies vehicle was attacked during the operation, which resulted in the vehicle catching fire. The bodies of the deceased Levies personnel have been transferred to the Darraband hospital.

The Assistant Commissioner confirmed that investigations into the attack are ongoing. The incident has raised concerns over the security situation in the region.
