Fire at Popular Ski Resort Hotel in Turkey’s Bolu Leaves 76 Dead and Dozens Injured

Turkey:A tragic fire at a well-known ski resort hotel in the city of Bolu, Turkey, has resulted in the deaths of 76 people, with dozens more injured.
According to international media reports, the incident occurred at the 12-story *Kurtal Hotel* in Bolu, where more than 200 people had been staying to enjoy their holidays.
Turkish authorities confirmed that at least two individuals died after jumping from windows in an attempt to escape the blaze, while it took firefighters 12 hours to extinguish the fire.
The initial report indicates that the cause of the fire is yet to be determined, but it is believed to have started in the hotel’s restaurant, from where it quickly spread throughout the building, engulfing the entire structure.
Following the incident, nine individuals, including the hotel owner, have been arrested for questioning in connection with the fire.
Bolu, located in northern Turkey, is famous for its tourist destinations, attracting a large number of visitors each year who come to enjoy winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding.
