FIA Uncovers Illegal Immigration Plot, Arrests 4 Travelers and an Agent at Karachi Airport
Islamabad:FIA Immigration** has successfully foiled an illegal attempt to travel to Europe and arrested four individuals, including an agent, at **Karachi Airport**. The arrested suspects are **Hasib Ahmed**, **Qaiser Ahmed**, **Usman Ali**, and **agent Abdul Shakoor**.
According to the **FIA spokesperson**, the accused belong to various areas, including **Faisalabad**, **Chiniot**, **Gujranwala**, and **Nankana Sahib**. **Human trafficker Abdul Shakoor** had made deals with the other suspects to send them to **Poland** illegally, charging them **14 lakh rupees** per person. The suspects had already paid an **advance of 2.5 lakh rupees** each to the agent.
The plan was to travel illegally from **Azerbaijan** to **Poland**, bypassing legal immigration procedures. During the initial investigation, crucial evidence was found on Abdul Shakoor’s **mobile phone**. The agent had arranged **Azerbaijan visas** for the suspects through **Zam Zam Travel Shangla Hill**.
The FIA spokesperson further claimed that **Abdul Shakoor** was in contact with an **Indian agent**, **Gautam Sharma**, residing in Azerbaijan. **Gautam Sharma** was allegedly coordinating the illegal travel arrangements for the suspects, who were meant to be sent to Poland through Azerbaijan.
The suspects have been transferred to the **Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi** for further investigation and legal proceedings. The FIA’s prompt action has once again highlighted its commitment to combat human trafficking and illegal immigration activities.
