FIA Arrests Organized Group Involved in Fraudulent Trading and Investment Scheme

The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested an organized group involved in fraud under the guise of trading and investment. According to an FIA spokesperson, the arrested suspects include Zahid Siddique, Imtisal Akram, and Muhammad Iqbal.

Zahid Siddique was arrested at Lahore Airport while attempting to flee the country, and based on his identification, the other two suspects, Muhammad Iqbal and Imtisal Akram, were apprehended in Model Town, Multan.

The accused are alleged to have defrauded over 200 individuals through false promises of Forex trading, causing significant financial losses. The FIA spokesperson further revealed that the suspects had swindled nearly 12 billion rupees from the victims, with bank statements, company records, and other evidence confirming the fraudulent activities.
