Karachi:The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has apprehended an assistant director allegedly involved in issuing Pakistani identity cards to Afghan citizens.
According to an FIA spokesperson, the accused collaborated with accomplices to issue Pakistani identity cards to Afghan nationals.
Efforts are underway to arrest other associates of the accused, as stated by the FIA spokesperson.
During another operation, the FIA raided the office of an illegal travel agency in Lari area, where multiple passports and identity cards were recovered from the arrested suspect.
The spokesperson further mentioned that during the raid on the travel agency’s office, laptops and other travel documents were also seized.
