Federal Tax Ombudsman Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah Emphasizes Provision of Timely Justice and Success in Resolving Complaints

Quetta: Federal Tax Ombudsman Dr. Asif Mahmood Jah stated that the primary goal of the federal tax institution is to provide citizens with quality justice in the shortest possible time. Speaking to the media at his office, he shared that in 2024, over 13,000 complaints were received, out of which 12,000 were successfully resolved.
Dr. Jah highlighted that the federal tax institution, which was established in the year 2000, has now completed 25 years. He emphasized that the objective of the institution is to ensure that taxpayers receive prompt and efficient justice. “The country’s governance relies heavily on taxes, and we are committed to making the tax process easier for citizens,” he added.
Dr. Jah also expressed his deep connection with Balochistan, stating that he feels great satisfaction working in the province. He mentioned that he has worked in various regions of Balochistan, especially during natural disasters, providing assistance to affected communities.
