Federal Ministry of Education to Launch Solar Energy Project in Islamabad Schools

Islamabad: The Federal Ministry of Education has decided to initiate a solar energy project in schools across Islamabad. According to a spokesperson, 100 primary schools in the federal capital will be powered by solar energy. The project is expected to be completed in all 100 schools by the end of the year.
The Ministry announced plans to convert these primary schools to solar energy within the next two months. Officials from the Ministry of Education stated that the objective of the project is to reduce electricity costs and promote sustainability. This initiative is part of a broader effort to utilize renewable energy sources and reduce the city’s carbon footprint.
The project aims not only to decrease electricity expenses but also to provide a clean and sustainable energy source for our schools. Installation of solar panels on selected school rooftops will be part of the initiative. Each school’s solar energy system will be designed to meet its specific energy needs.
The Ministry expects substantial savings in electricity expenditures annually as a result of this project. These savings will be utilized to enhance educational facilities and amenities for the students.
