Federal Minister Ali Pervez Malik Announces Plans to Reduce Electricity Prices and Address Rising Terrorism

Islamabad:Federal Minister for Petroleum, Ali Pervez Malik, has stated that the government plans to utilize the revenue from petroleum resources to reduce electricity prices, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will soon announce significant reductions in electricity rates.
After assuming charge of the Ministry of Petroleum, Ali Pervez Malik visited the Kot Khwaja Saeed Hospital in Lahore. During his visit, he emphasized that the government is focused on creating ease for the public. He added that anyone attempting to politicize the situation will face consequences.
Malik also praised the Prime Minister’s efforts in securing economic stability, noting that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had acknowledged the Prime Minister’s work for economic recovery. He further highlighted that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is open to collaboration with all parties to resolve the country’s challenges.
Regarding the issue of terrorism, Malik expressed concern over the resurgence of terrorism and stressed the need for national unity in tackling the threat. He mentioned that discussions are ongoing regarding the holding of a Pakistan Conference (PC) on the matter. Malik also reaffirmed the commitment of the Pakistan Army, stating that the military is working tirelessly to defend the country during these challenging times.
