Islamabad:The federal government has announced an increase in petroleum product prices. According to a notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, the government has increased the price of petrol by Rs. 9.99, while high-speed diesel has become costlier by Rs. 6.18.
According to the Ministry of Finance, after the increase, the new prices will be Rs. 275.60 per liter for petrol and Rs. 283.63 per liter for high-speed diesel.
The Ministry of Finance has further stated that the new prices of petroleum products will come into effect from midnight tonight.
It should be noted that earlier on July 1st, petrol prices were increased by Rs. 7.45 and diesel prices were increased by Rs. 9.56 per liter.
