Federal Cabinet Meeting Reviews Political and Economic Situation
Islamabad: A federal cabinet meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, is currently underway, focusing on an eight-point agenda. Notably, the agenda now excludes the issue of including the End of Prophethood oath in marriage certificates, which was previously under consideration.
Decisions are expected regarding the regularization of daily-wage employees at the Federal Directorate of Education in Islamabad. The cabinet will also review and approve a memorandum of understanding for establishing political relations between Guatemala and Pakistan, as well as an agreement on political relations between Pakistan and Ecuador.
Other key agenda items include a decision on increasing the number of members in the Privatization Commission, and ratification of decisions made in meetings of the Government-Owned Entities Committee, the Central Contracting and Licensing Committee (CCLC), and the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC). Additionally, the cabinet will evaluate the current political and economic situation in the country.
The meeting will also recognize and commend Arshad Nadeem for his outstanding performance in representing Pakistan at the Paris Olympics.
