Islamabad:The federal cabinet meeting scheduled for today has been postponed, with a new date to be announced later. Sources indicate that the decision to delay the meeting was made at the directive of the Prime Minister.
The cabinet was set to discuss a 10-point agenda, which included important decisions such as the reconstitution of the Pharmacy Council and the approval of the Haj Policy for 2025.
In a related development, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called for an important meeting today to review preparations for the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit. Ministers and officials from relevant departments have been summoned for this meeting. Additionally, preparations for the upcoming visit of the Malaysian Prime Minister will also be assessed during the discussions.
