Federal Cabinet Approves Purchase of 1,087 Vehicles for FBR
Islamabad:The federal cabinet has approved the purchase of 1,087 vehicles for the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), sources have revealed.
According to sources, in addition to the 1,010 vehicles, FBR has also been granted approval for the acquisition of an additional 77 new vehicles.
The federal cabinet’s approval allows FBR to purchase these vehicles, with FBR already beginning the process for the purchase of 1,010 new vehicles. The remaining 77 vehicles are still under approval.
Furthermore, the federal cabinet has authorized FBR to acquire vehicles with an engine capacity of up to 1,300cc for operational purposes.
The approval for the purchase of these vehicles has been granted by the Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) and the Ministry of Finance’s austerity committee.
