FC Hands Over 50 Afghan Children to Afghan Authorities After Border Breach

Peshawar:Frontier Corps (FC) officials have handed over 50 Afghan children to Afghan authorities after they illegally crossed into Pakistan by tearing through an iron fence.
According to FC sources, the children, who included both boys and girls, entered Pakistan near the Torkham border checkpoint after breaking through the iron fence. They were taken into custody by the police.
Sources revealed that at the request of tribal elders, these children were deported and handed over to Afghan authorities at the Torkham border.
FC sources also mentioned that Afghan children often engage in smuggling foreign goods across the border through the Torkham route.
Furthermore, FC officials have urged Afghan authorities to prevent their children from crossing into Pakistan by breaking the iron fence.
