FC Balochistan North Foils Smuggling Attempts in Multiple Areas

Quetta:FC Balochistan (North), in collaboration with other agencies, continues to carry out successful anti-smuggling operations across various regions of Balochistan. During November 2024, authorities successfully thwarted smuggling attempts in areas including Dera Murad Jamali, Barkhan, Pishin, Chaman, Zhob, and Nushki.

Among the seized goods were 40 metric tons of sugar, 12 metric tons of betel nuts, 728 tires, and 1,223 cartons of cigarettes. The ongoing operations also led to the interception of 122,096 liters of diesel at inter-provincial border check posts, thanks to stringent and systematic checks.

These successful operations reflect the government’s ongoing efforts to combat smuggling and safeguard the nation’s economy. The crackdown on smuggling continues as part of the government’s strategy to stabilize the country’s economic situation and curb illegal trade activities.
