FBR Makes Major Changes, Transfers 14 Senior Inland Revenue Officers

Islamabad:The **Federal Board of Revenue (FBR)** has carried out a significant reshuffle by transferring **14 senior officers** from the **Inland Revenue Service**, ranging from **Grade 17 to 20**.

According to the notification, **Grade 20 officer** **Muhammad Khalid Jameel** has been appointed as **Chief Inland Revenue Transformation Delivery Unit** at the **FBR Headquarters**. Along with his new role, he will also hold the additional charges of **Program Office Director Pakistan Revenue System** and **Director Tax System Digitalization Project**.

Furthermore, **Grade 19 officer Ms. Sadia Iftikhar** has been transferred from **Secretary Reforms and Modernization Wing** at FBR Headquarters to the role of **Secretary (Donor Program) TDU FBR Headquarters**.

**Grade 18 officer Ahmad Shakeel Babar** has been assigned as **Second Secretary Internal System Digitalization II at TDU FBR Headquarters**, with the additional charge of **Second Secretary Inland Revenue Policy Wing** at FBR Headquarters.

In addition to these major changes, other officers who have been transferred include **Sardar Umar Sharif**, **Khadija Hussain**, **Adnan Jabbar**, **Ahmed Faiz**, **Abdul Rehman**, **Sadaf Ihsan**, **Ahmed Kamal**, **Osama Sameer**, **Syed Shabbir Riaz Zidi**, and **Ms. Qandeel Alam**.

This reshuffling is part of the **FBR’s ongoing efforts** to enhance efficiency and improve the performance of its Inland Revenue operations. The changes are expected to bring in **new leadership** and **focus** on critical areas, including **digitalization** and **tax reforms**, ensuring that the organization adapts to modern fiscal policies and challenges.
