Charsadda: A fierce storm accompanied by torrential rain has resulted in the collapse of roofs claiming the lives of two individuals and leaving several others injured.
Peshawar: In Charsadda, an intense storm and heavy rainfall led to the collapse of roofs and walls, resulting in the tragic deaths of 2 individuals and injuries to many more.
According to hospital sources, during the storm in the Shabqadar area, numerous houses suffered collapses, leading to the deaths of 2 individuals and injuring 10 others. Among the deceased are a woman and a young man, whose bodies and the injured have been transferred to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital.
Expressing condolences to the families of the deceased, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur lamented the incidents during the rainfall. He assured solidarity and sympathy with the bereaved families, emphasizing swift recovery for the injured and directing local authorities to ensure immediate medical assistance and relief for the affected.
Furthermore, Chief Minister’s PKA Ali Amin Gandapur announced financial assistance for the families of the deceased.
