Famous Stage and TV Comedian Javed Kodo Passes Away

Lahore:Renowned stage and TV comedian, Javed Kodo, has passed away. According to his family, the actor had been suffering from prolonged illness and had been under treatment at General Hospital for some time.

Javed Kodo, known for his distinctive small stature, gained widespread fame for his comedic roles in stage dramas, films, and TV shows. Some of his notable works include popular Pakistani dramas such as *Ainak Wala Jin* and *Aashiyana*.

In an interview last year, Javed Kodo had shared that he was battling multiple health issues. He revealed that he had suffered a brain hemorrhage and had become partially paralyzed. In addition to that, he was also dealing with heart disease, and had undergone surgery for his stomach.

Reflecting on the changing dynamics in the entertainment industry, Javed Kodo had expressed disappointment with the behavior of some of his fellow actors. He mentioned, “Today, everyone is struggling with financial problems. I had hoped that my friends would support me, but it seems they too are facing difficulties due to rising inflation.”

Javed Kodo’s passing has left a void in Pakistan’s entertainment industry, and he will be remembered for his immense contribution to comedic roles in both stage and television.
