Islamabad:Renowned Indian rapper and singer Yo Yo Honey Singh has revealed that he considers himself a mental health patient. In a recent appearance on former Bollywood actress Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast “Chapter 2,” Honey Singh spoke candidly about his documentary and personal life. The teaser video of his conversation with Rhea was posted on her Instagram, with the full interview scheduled to air on January 17.
During the interview, Honey Singh shared his struggle with **Bipolar Disorder**, describing it as a condition that affected him so severely that he still considers himself mentally ill today. He explained that recognizing bipolar disorder is often difficult, and even doctors struggle to fully understand the illness. He recounted an encounter with a doctor in 2021 who, according to him, had a “magical” approach to treatment.
The singer elaborated on his experience, stating that he endured not six but 600 years in his mind during this time, feeling as though his days never ended. According to Honey Singh, he spent three years in such a state that he believed he was already dead.
Rhea Chakraborty also expressed her emotions about Honey Singh’s documentary, sharing that she cried both tears of joy and sorrow while watching it. She thanked Honey Singh for surviving and sharing his story, to which Honey Singh humorously responded, “Meeting Akbar the Great, meeting Alexander the Great, two fighters are meeting.”
Honey Singh’s documentary, directed by Mozez Singh, was released on December 20 on Netflix. The singer’s popular Bollywood tracks, including *Party All Night*, *Lungi Dance*, *High Heels*, and *Party All Night*, have contributed to his success and recognition in the music industry.
