Family of Abdul Wahid Demands Safe Return of Missing Relative
Khuzdar:Residents of Karadu village, including Abdul Wahid son of Shah Mohammad of the Qom Bizenjo community, addressed a crucial press conference alongside family members to voice their concerns. They stated that their brother, Gul Mohammad alias Gul Hassan son of Shah Mohammad, had married Hussaina Bint Mohammad Hassan two and a half years ago without any objections from either party. They further explained that a tribal jirga was convened on July 6, 2024, with representatives from all tribes in the area, including the Kongorozai, Bizenjo, Nindwani, Channal, Gwaranjo, and Mingal tribes, in attendance. The jirga unanimously approved the marital arrangements according to tribal customs and traditions.
However, the situation took a drastic turn when Abdul Latif, Mohammad Ramzan, Mohammad Ameen, Mohammad Alam sons of Mohammad Hassan, and Qadir Bakhsh son of Abdul Hakim of the Kongorozai community from Lohi Bala and Abdul Qadir son of Abdul Rahman of the Bizenjo community from Kohad Bala allegedly took Gul Mohammad away under false pretenses of resolving a dispute. Since then, Gul Mohammad has been missing, causing distress to his family members.
The family pleaded with the Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sardar Faraz Bugti, Sardar Mohammad Islam Bizenjo, Minister of Interior Balochistan, Commissioner Kalat Division, Deputy Commissioner Khuzdar, and leaders of the Bizenjo National Alliance, administrative authorities, and all government officials to expedite the safe recovery of Gul Mohammad. They expressed concerns over potential threats to their family and warned of peaceful protests if their demands were not met promptly.
