Tennessee:Seventeen women across 9 states in the United States have fallen severely ill after receiving fake Botox injections, with 13 of them rushed to hospitals in emergency conditions. According to a report by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), besides legitimate medical facilities, disturbing details have emerged of these women becoming ill after receiving injections from an unlicensed individual.
Four of these women received injections at a party hosted at a relative’s house in Tennessee. It was later discovered that the injections were counterfeit products administered by an unlicensed person. Dr. Christine, commenting on the issue, highlighted several similar cases where people attempted to administer injections without proper licensing, posing significant risks to the recipients’ health and safety.
