Experts Encourage Pakistani Youth to Stay and Contribute to National Development
Islamabad:Renowned poets, intellectuals, and health experts have urged Pakistan’s youth to focus on contributing to the country’s progress and prosperity rather than seeking opportunities abroad. They emphasized that no developed nation has ever achieved success without hard work, dedication, and sacrifice. If the youth of Japan, Germany, China, and South Korea had left their countries in search of opportunities elsewhere, these nations would not have reached their current levels of development.
The experts shared these thoughts during the launch of the 2025 thematic calendar by the *Jehan Masiha Literary Forum*, held at a local hotel in Rawalpindi. The event was attended by doctors, poets, and intellectuals who delivered messages of hope, perseverance, and national struggle.
### *Hope and Resilience: Key to National Growth*
Famous poet **Iftikhar Arif** addressed the gathering, stressing the importance of national resilience and hope. He pointed out that countries like China, South Korea, Japan, and Germany faced tremendous challenges, but their intellectuals never advised their youth to leave their homeland. Instead, they inspired their people with hope and resilience, which enabled these nations to achieve progress through internal struggle. Arif further stated that Pakistan is blessed with natural resources and talented minds, and with collective effort, it can become a great nation.
### *Success Lies in Patience, Hard Work, and Determination* – Anwar Masood
Poet **Anwar Masood** also sent a message of struggle and hope to the youth, urging them to prioritize hope over despair. He emphasized that the people of Pakistan have immense potential, and success is achieved through patience, hard work, and determination. He stressed that the success of Pakistan’s future lies in the strength and determination of its people.
### *Pakistan’s Challenges Are Not Insurmountable* – Inam ul Haq Javed
Renowned poet and writer **Inam ul Haq Javed** emphasized the importance of unity and resilience among the youth. He argued that the challenges facing Pakistan are not insurmountable, and if young people channel their energy into constructive work, no obstacle can stop the country’s progress.
