Exchange Market Records Slight Drop in Dollar Value

Karachi: The value of the US dollar saw a minor decrease in the exchange market today. In the interbank market, the dollar dropped by 7 paisas, bringing its value to 277 rupees and 90 paisas.
Currency dealers reported that the fluctuation in the dollar’s value continued, with the dollar settling at 277.94 in the interbank market.
On the first trading day of the week, the market started in the negative zone, with the Karachi Stock Exchange’s benchmark KSE-100 Index witnessing a drop of 1,145 points. However, the market reversed course shortly after, with the index gaining 1,091 points, reaching a high of 110,000 points.
