Evidence Emerges of PTI’s Involvement in Negative Social Media Propaganda Campaign

Recent investigations have revealed evidence of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) being involved in a negative social media propaganda campaign. Sources from the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) have reported that during the investigation, PTI members provided inflammatory content that serves as proof of the party’s involvement in anti-state activities and propaganda.
The JIT sources further revealed that even close relatives of PTI leadership were found to be involved in these anti-state activities. The investigation team is actively recommending strict legal and administrative actions against criminals, especially those who are absconding or absent from proceedings.
According to the JIT, the actions of PTI’s Central Media Division and social media team were not carried out by “volunteer forces” but were orchestrated through domestic and offshore account handlers. The campaign has been financially supported by foreign lobbies and the PTI leadership, who have been working together to control the propaganda efforts.
The JIT is currently investigating PTI members regarding the negative propaganda on social media. This inquiry is being conducted under the 2016 Electronic Crimes Act. The JIT, formed by the federal government, is headed by the Inspector General of Islamabad Police.
