Engineer Mir Waiz Khan Kakar Stresses the Need for Pakistan to Host Exhibitions Like MUSIAD Expo 2024
Istanbul/Quetta:The Vice President of the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI), Engineer Mir Waiz Khan Kakar, emphasized the importance of organizing exhibitions similar to the MUSIAD Expo 2024 in Pakistan to attract international investors and showcase the country’s potential. Speaking at the MUSIAD Expo 2024 held in Istanbul, Turkey, he highlighted that such events are crucial for business growth and global awareness of investment opportunities in Pakistan and Balochistan.
Engineer Kakar pointed out that the MUSIAD Expo 2024 featured over 6,000 stalls from 120 countries, showcasing thousands of items across various industries. However, he expressed disappointment that no stalls were dedicated to Pakistani or Balochistani products, which he termed a “missed opportunity.”
He stressed the need for global awareness of Pakistan’s diverse range of locally made products, including textiles, sports goods, fruits, vegetables, and more. According to him, exhibitions similar to MUSIAD should be held in Pakistan and Balochistan to inform international investors about the potential business opportunities available in these regions.
He further emphasized that such expos play a pivotal role in boosting business development by giving investors insights into the available opportunities in any given country or region.
