Elon Musk to Step Down from Role in Trump’s “Department of Government Efficiency

Elon Musk, the world’s richest person and the founder of Tesla and SpaceX, is set to step down from his role in the “Department of Government Efficiency” (DOGE), a government body established during President Donald Trump’s administration.
According to U.S. newspaper *Politico*, Trump informed his cabinet members and close associates about Musk’s decision to resign from his governmental role. The report stated that Trump had communicated to his team that Musk would be stepping down in the coming weeks.
While Trump has expressed satisfaction with Musk’s work and the performance of his department, both parties have agreed that Musk will return his focus to his business ventures. Musk had been tasked with overseeing efforts to reduce government spending and was serving as the head of the “Department of Government Efficiency.”
However, neither Musk’s team nor the White House has confirmed the details of his resignation.
