Elon Musk Issues Warning to U.S. Federal Employees on Social Media Performance Reporting

Washington: Elon Musk, a member of the U.S. Department of Government Performance (DOGE), has issued a stern warning to federal employees on social media, stating that they will be required to provide a detailed explanation of the work they have done throughout the week.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Musk mentioned that federal employees would receive an email instructing them to respond with a summary of the tasks they completed over the week. He further clarified that any federal employee who fails to provide a response to the email would be considered as having resigned.
This move is part of Musk’s ongoing efforts to increase accountability and transparency within government operations.
