Election Petition Against Mir Zafarullah Zehri Dismissed by Balochistan High Court

Quetta : The Balochistan High Court’s Election Tribunal I, led by Justice Abdullah Baloch, has dismissed the election petition filed against Mir Zafarullah Zehri, the successful candidate from PB-35 Sorarab. The petition, filed by Mir Nimratullah Zehri, was dismissed due to the lack of evidence proving that Mir Zafarullah Zehri was not “sadiq and ameen” (honest and trustworthy).
The tribunal’s decision was based on the assessment that no substantial evidence was presented by the petitioner to support claims of dishonesty or corruption against Mir Zafarullah Zehri. Consequently, the election petition was rejected.
The case was represented by Nadim Chhalgri, Bilal Mohsin, and Shabbir Ahmed Sherani, Advocates, for the petitioner. Mir Zafarullah Zehri was represented by Amanullah Kanrani, Advocate, while the Government of Balochistan was represented by Nasrat Baloch, Assistant Advocate General.
