Eid ul-Fitr Celebrations Begin in Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Qatar

Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar:Eid ul-Fitr is being celebrated today across Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Yemen, marking the end of Ramadan. Major gatherings for Eid prayers are taking place at the Grand Mosque in Mecca and the Prophet’s Mosque in Medina, with over 2 million expected to participate.
In contrast, Oman, Indonesia, and Brunei will observe Eid ul-Fitr on Monday. Meanwhile, in the United Kingdom, the Muslim community is divided, with some celebrating today and others on Monday.
In the United States and Canada, those following the pre-determined Muslim calendar will celebrate Eid on Sunday, while mosques and organizations that follow moon sighting will announce their Eid dates after receiving lunar testimonies.
