EC Issues Notices to PTI Leaders Over Failure to Submit Financial Statements
Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has issued notices to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan and General Secretary Umar Ayub for failing to submit their financial disclosures. According to the notices, both leaders have been summoned for a hearing on December 4 at 10:00 AM. This follows a previous notice issued by the ECP, which had called them for a hearing on November 26. The ECP had requested the submission of PTI’s financial details for the fiscal year 2023-24.
