Dubai International Cricket Stadium Ready for Pakistan vs India Clash Amid Possible Light Showers

Dubai International Cricket Stadium, famously known for its “Ring of Fire,” is all set to host the highly anticipated Pakistan vs India match, with cricket fans eagerly awaiting the showdown. However, there are concerns over possible weather conditions as temperatures in Dubai have been cooling off during the nights.

On Tuesday, February 18, Dubai experienced some rainfall, raising doubts about the potential for similar weather disruptions during Thursday’s match between India and Bangladesh. Additionally, the UAE’s highest peak, Jebel Jais in Ras Al Khaimah, witnessed rain and hail, though the weather did not affect the Bangladesh-India game.

According to the UAE’s Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of light showers on Sunday night and Monday morning, along with partly cloudy weather. Experts believe that if it does rain, it will likely be brief and unlikely to cause significant disruption to the match.

The forecast predicts a daytime temperature of 33°C and a nighttime temperature of 20°C for Sunday. Fans remain optimistic that despite the slight chance of rain, the much-awaited Pakistan vs India clash will proceed without major interruptions and deliver an exciting game.

It is important to note that under the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 regulations, no reserve days are allocated for group stage matches, adding extra urgency to the weather situation. Fans hope for the best as they look forward to an action-packed encounter.
