Dry Weather in Karachi Today, Cold Wave Expected Next Week
Karachi: The weather in Karachi is dry today, with an increase in cold temperatures expected from next week. According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the city will experience dry weather today, and the temperature is expected to drop starting from December 5.
On Saturday morning, the minimum temperature in Karachi was recorded at 20.4°C. Due to light fog in the early hours, visibility dropped to around 2 kilometers. The maximum temperature in the next 24 hours is likely to range between 30°C and 32°C, while the minimum temperature is expected to be between 19°C and 21°C.
The PMD also forecasts that winds will blow at speeds of 8 to 15 km/h from the northeast direction today.
Chief Meteorologist for Karachi, Sardar Sarfraz, stated that the cold winds from the recent rains in Balochistan are expected to affect Karachi. This will lead to a 2 to 3°C decrease in both the maximum and minimum temperatures starting from December 5.
