Drop in Dollar Price Against Pakistani Rupee in Interbank Market
Karachi: The price of the US dollar has decreased against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market. According to currency dealers, on the third business day of the week, the dollar became 6 paise cheaper, bringing its price down to 278 rupees and 60 paise.
It is noteworthy that, according to data released by the State Bank, the dollar had previously seen an increase in the interbank market. On Tuesday, the dollar was 16 paise more expensive, closing the day at 278 rupees and 66 paise.
Meanwhile, the stock market exhibited a positive trend, with the stock exchange’s 100 Index rising by 342 points, reaching a level of 78,971 points.
