Dr. Manrang Baloch Calls for Three-Day Sit-in Protest in Gwadar Following Violent Suppression of Baloch Unity Rally
Gwadar:Dr. Manrang Baloch, addressing a gathering in Baloch Razi Mach convened by the Baloch Unity Committee, announced a three-day sit-in protest in Gwadar. He urged international powers to take immediate notice of widespread state-sponsored killings and violence against the Baloch nation. Dr. Baloch emphasized that today’s assembly comprises conscious Baloch people who understand their real enemies and who is plundering their resources with impunity.
He stated that Baloch people are currently enduring a life similar to that imposed by outsiders on their own land. Dr. Baloch highlighted the irony that while all capitalists converge on Gwadar for profit, the entire city is shut down when Baloch people attempt a peaceful political program. He expressed solidarity with the Baloch youth who have been killed or arrested, demanding their immediate release under Baloch Resistance Movement on Marine Drive in Gwadar.
Dr. Baloch insisted that despite efforts to obstruct the Baloch Unity March across regions, thousands have gathered in Gwadar today. He underscored the state’s attempts to silence voices against oppression but stressed the need for Baloch people to continue raising their voices against coercion even after their leaders are gone. He called for the removal of death squads present among them and urged everyone in Gwadar to participate in Baloch Razi Mach by breaking all barriers.
The gathering also featured speeches by Sabghatullah Shah and other leaders, with a heavy presence of police, FC, and Balochistan Constabulary in the vicinity.
