Dr. Mah Rang Baloch and Baloch Unity Committee Leaders Receive Rapturous Welcome in Quetta, Vow to Continue Resistance Against Oppression
Quetta:Dr. Mah Rang Baloch, the head of the Baloch Unity Committee, and other prominent leaders were warmly received in Quetta as they arrived in a convoy. A grand reception rally was held at the Shahwani Stadium in Saryab, where thousands of participants cheered and chanted slogans in support of the resistance leaders from Rajgi Machi.
Following the end of the sit-in in Gwadar, historic welcome rallies were held in various districts including Turbat, Panjgur, Greshk, Saurab, Kalat, and Nushki, with a significant turnout demonstrating solidarity. Speaking at the rally in Quetta, Dr. Mah Rang Baloch addressed the audience, emphasizing that the decisions regarding their missing and detained individuals will be made by Baloch Raj. She praised the courage and perseverance of the Baloch people, asserting that their unwavering resolve will prevent them from being broken.
Dr. Mah Rang expressed pride in being a daughter of the Baloch nation, highlighting their relentless spirit and commitment to progress despite historical setbacks. She called upon the people to reaffirm their commitment to the struggle and stand firm against adversity. Reflecting on the previous rally held six months ago at the same stadium, she noted the continued strength and dedication of the Baloch community.
She rebuked the notion that the Baloch are merely emotional, asserting instead that they are ideological and steadfast. Dr. Mah Rang highlighted the global recognition of the Rajgi Machi movement and criticized the state’s efforts to suppress the Baloch resistance. She detailed the harsh measures taken against the Baloch people, including sexual violence against women, torture, drug addiction among youth, and the confiscation of lands and fisheries.
Despite these challenges, she praised the Baloch for their resilience and continued resistance. She mentioned the warm reception they received throughout Balochistan, noting the widespread support from the community, including mothers and fishermen, who showed solidarity during the intense conditions in Gwadar.
Dr. Mah Rang emphasized that the movement’s success is attributed to the collective effort of the Baloch people and urged continued support for the Baloch Unity Committee’s efforts to unite and raise awareness about the atrocities faced by the Baloch people. She also called for the education of girls, stating that an educated woman can uplift an entire generation and urged every brother and father to empower their sisters and daughters equally.
The Baloch Unity Committee’s movement is framed as a fight for survival and justice, with Dr. Mah Rang Baloch underscoring that the struggle will persist as long as the Baloch people remain resolute and united.
